What is Smiler?
Smilers turn their heads toward the nearest living human. They grab with empty hands. Public writeups disagree on unbuffed health: the Iron Potion note uses 100 and raises it to 110, while a controls note says Smilers have about 10 percent more health than humans and a Bat note cites 110. Dying returns you to spawn as a human in the main mode. Swamp water cures a normal Smiler and restores human weapons.

How do you get Smiler?
Touch white Infecting Light, lose a grab, or be selected when Elimination's grace period ends. Drinking a Speed or Jump Potion as a human also converts you.
How do you use Smiler?
Grab away from orange light. Drink Iron before you grab a Knife or Hatchet user. Use your head direction as a compass when humans break line of sight.
