Endangered Smiler

The effect is described as turning on when about 20 percent or fewer of the server are Smilers. Affected players show a red aura and Winning Smile particles, with maximum health cited around 200, plus the mobility bonuses of potions they hold. Invisibility does not remove the aura. Knife grab escapes fail. Screen text tells the Smiler that their happiness is in danger, and that their nerves calm down when the buff ends.

It is applied by the server when the Smiler team is small enough. You do not pick it up from a stage.

Humans should use Shotgun knockdowns, orange light, and focus fire. A Knife escape is the wrong plan against the red aura.
