Elimination is a five-minute hide-and-convert round. It uses the same grab rules, then removes the cures and the usual safe lights.
Round shape
Everyone starts human. You have 30 seconds. During that window, touching an infection hazard or falling off the map kills you, and Rob drops under the counter so you cannot keep taking Bottles. When the head start ends, five players become the first Smilers. Anyone infected after that stays a Smiler until the timer ends. Swamp of Sadness and Crossriver do not appear. A Roblox experience article also says Depressing Light is removed, so spawn stays open and the fort cannot be shut.
Humans win if at least one human is alive at five minutes. That survival is the Expert Survivor badge. Smilers win if the server is fully converted. The stages then drop and the next cycle starts.
What to hold
The Katana is the best shop tool here because its speed matches a normal Smiler and the swings can force a grab to drop. A Knife still breaks a normal grab for 4 durability and still fails against Giants, Iron Potion, and Endangered. Endangered is more common in this mode. Overseers are also more common, and they can see humans, so a closet is not a plan.
Stay with other humans unless you are taking a weapon from a room you already know. Beam Room matters more when orange light is scarce: humans and Smilers fight over the beam buttons. Rooms that still have Depressing Light, if one loads, are worth holding.
Smiler side
Your head still points at the nearest human. Use that before you wander. Iron Potion and Speed Potion matter more because cured-water resets do not exist. Do not spend the early 30 seconds walking into cameras. Those kills are real during the grace period.
Glitch spots are mentioned in older writeups. This guide does not list them. A spot that only works because a hitbox is wrong can vanish in a patch, and the Halloween update already reworked maps.
